Closing Down

Unfortunately, we're in the process of closing down Crafting4Good CIC after almost
9 years of social enterprise and impact.

Creativity is good for you, but running a busy creative nonprofit on increasingly limited resources is not. As a result the team were stretched, stressed and experiencing the very opposite of "creativity for wellbeing and mental health".

This website *may* stay online under a different name to preserve the legacy and resources created through years of funding with public money.

Supporting Outwood Brownies with Free Craft Supplies

A local Brownie Leader from the 47th Wakefield (Outwood Church) was delighted when she discovered oriental papers, stickers, and brightly coloured card amongst our 'surplus' donated stock which we can give away for free to community groups!

Our surplus 'community stash' includes new and/or used donated art and craft supplies which still have life in them, and can be used for new projects.

Volunteers also found items in our stock room suitable for her project. There was a real sense of teamwork as we all collated craft materials.

The Brownies had fun making paper lanterns, fans and Chinese dragon heads. Through creativity, they learnt about the festival and the culture.

If you are a Community Leader and would like to see if we have suitable free supplies available, please get in touch. We will be delighted to support you by giving donated art and craft materials a new purpose, and help to create a better environment by avoiding landfill.
